Who we are
The Alt Channel is an online radio station dedicated to the promotion of new and classic alternative music.
We aim to get listeners involved in the process of choosing the music they listen to.
Our station features
The Alt Channel has different features that aim to promote new and classic alternative music. These features include
- The Alt channel song of the week: Every week, we play a new alternative song that may or may not make it on to the main playlist, depending on listener votes
- Free For Alt Fridays: As the name suggests, we play just about anything alternative from the past and present. This can include lost hits or deep alternative tracks
- The Alternative Hour: The Alternative Hour aims to showcase different alternative music from arround the world. Hosted by Jarrod Hayson, the show airs every sunday night at 8:00 PM central time
